Rutland, VT – Treasurer Mike Pieciak will join Rutland City Mayor Mike Doenges and local leaders on Wednesday, October 16, at 11 AM at The Hub CoWorks to unveil new housing investments in Rutland County supported by the Treasurer’s “10% in Vermont” local investment program.

The “10% in Vermont” program allows the Treasurer’s Office to invest up to 10% of the state’s cash deposits for economic development and job creation in the form of low interest loans. The state’s average daily cash balance has grown substantially in recent years, allowing the Treasurer Pieciak to significantly increase the amount available for investment.

In September 2023, Treasurer Pieciak awarded $55.5 million to support the development of over 1,100 homes statewide across a spectrum of the Vermont’s housing needs.

Members of the media will have the opportunity to ask questions.
