Medicare-Eligible Retirees and Dependents
All Vermont Blue Advantage (VBA) applications must be signed and dated on or after October 5, 2023 for an effective date of January 1, 2024.
What is the cost: Rates for the VBA plans are going up by 3% this year. All VSTRS Medicare premium rates for 2024 can be found HERE.
If you are currently enrolled in either the VEHI or VBA VSTRS 65 plan and pay a $0 premium, you will continue to pay a $0 premium in 2024.
In order to make a change, send in the appropriate form by November 10, 2023 for changes effective January 1, 2024. If you miss the deadline and wish to make a change before the new year, you may still make a change, however you may not receive your new plan information before the end of the year.
